Due to their proven lubricant-free operating principle they can be used in many industrial applications where reliable oil- and pulsation-free compressed air is required. For example, they are perfectly suited for the aeration of liquids, e.g. waste water treatment, in printing and paper converting machines. Dry-running rotary vane compressor technology has been continuously developed and optimized by Busch in the course of over 30 years. Seco SD rotary vane compressors are characterized by their robust construction and self-lubricating vanes made from special graphite. Perfectly synchronized components and materials, effective heat discharge and state-of- the-art precision manufacturing ensure reliable blast and compressed air generation. Their compact dimensions allow installation to be carried out almost anywhere with ease. Technical specifications Rotary vane technology is synonymous with a robust, functional construction. In a cylindrical housing a rotor with seven vanes is mounted eccentrically. Due to centrifugal force the vanes slide out and form chambers between themselves and the housing. The pumped medium is trapped inside these seven chambers. During further rotation, their volume is reduced constantly, thereby compressing the pumped medium and transporting it to the outlet. Thanks to self-lubricating rotor vanes, no operating fluid is necessary, ensuring a completely dry compression. A standardized integrated inlet filter protects the compressor from contamination, and the pressure regulating valve makes it easy to set the pressure to the required level.
